Hello, Cayuse Prairie families and community! 

My name is Paxton Doty, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Cayuse Prairie School. As a lifelong Flathead Valley resident and educator, I feel incredibly fortunate to continue serving students and families in the community that has always been home to me. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Montana Western and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University. Before joining Cayuse Prairie, I spent seven years as an elementary classroom teacher in Kalispell, where I developed a deep appreciation for building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.

I believe schools are at their best when students feel known, supported, challenged, and proud to be part of their school community. In my role at Cayuse Prairie, I hope to help cultivate a school where students are encouraged to grow as learners and as people, teachers feel supported in the important work they do each day, and families know they are valued partners in their child’s education. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and our two dogs, especially when we can take advantage of everything the beautiful Flathead Valley has to offer. I am excited to be part of the Cayuse Prairie community and look forward to getting to know our students and families!
